I just watched the Hillary Swank movie, P.S. I Love You. I LOVE this movie not just for the touching romance but for the very clever dialogue that had me laughing as well as tearing up and enjoying it! There's some very sophisticated and adept writing in this movie that can inspire writers to reach for more realism and emotional impact in crafting dialogue.

Even if you've seen this movie, watch it again, this time paying more attention to the "sound" or dialogue of the characters than to the Irish eye candy--if you can. MyOhMy.
