DU2 or YOUR IMMORTAL REALITY by Gary R. Renard
I've been listening to Coast to Coast radio since Art Bell was a die hard conservative and it was called the Art Bell Show, then Dreamland in the early nineties. Since that time, Art's come and gone and come back again. George Noory hosts the show now and I have to say I've nicely worked my way through Art Withdrawal. I like George's voice, his approach and his apparent nonjudgmental acceptance of most callers and interviewees. I'd never heard him be harsh with anyone, so when I heard him get--let's say, very frustrated with Gary R. Renard a couple of years ago, I was stunned. Like most of the interviewees, Gary was simply trying to get his message across about his new book, The Disappearance of the Universe, based upon his personal experience as a student of A Course in Miracles. George cut the interview short and I immediately ordered Gary's book.
I've read The Disappearance of the Universe (DU) entirely many times and continue to study it. I must say that it may have changed my life, if not the way I think about most things. I recommend it highly. Twenty years ago I bought A Course in Miracles, but found that while I thought the concepts were right on, I just couldn't create the self discipline/time to work through them as a serious student. Guess I was waiting for DU to break it down for me. Gary's new book, Your Immortal Reality, is a continuation of his experience with the Course and the two Ascended Masters, Arten and Pursah, who appear in physical form and teach him.
The Today's Creative Inspiration on the homepage is paraphrased from page 121 in Your Immortal Reality. Rather than review or tell what the book is about, I suggest that you get your own and read, read, apply, apply. I begin by making notes as I work through the books. Then I like to sum up for myself the concepts I get. I've listed some "study" or think points I'm squeezing the juice out of from this study go that I can apply to my creation. These are my own understanding of the material on my initial read, and should not be taken as anything more or less.
Do things
Play your part
Be normal and kind
Focus on the cause instead of the effect
Enjoy, have fun and give your work/creation as a gift to God
Enjoy your success
Be happy
Forgive whenever it feels appropriate
Stop reacting
That's what I've got to personally work with so far. I wish you (and me) inspired reading and application of Your Immortal Reality. Thanks, Gary, for another great and inspiring book!
